How can I contact Brooklinen?

The best way to reach us is by email at hello@brooklinen.com. We respond to email inquiries within 24 business hours, Monday-Friday. If you send us a question on Friday or the weekend, you will likely get a reply on Monday. 

Where are you located?

Our office/headquarters/mother-ship is located in Dumbo, Brooklyn, New York. 

How do I wash the sheets?

We recommend washing with extra fabric softener in warm water. Do not dry clean. You should always remember to wash before your first night in your new sheets. Please consult our Care Guide for tips to get the best out of your sheets. 

What is the difference between sateen and percale?

Percale and sateen are different types of cotton weaves. The hallmark of a percale weave are the 3 C's - crisp, cool, crinkly. Conversely, our sateen weave is also 100% cotton but slightly heavier with silky smooth finish. Both will continue to get softer with every wash and use. How are you able to offer such high quality at $100?

By being small and nimble, and selling directly to consumers, we are able to cut out significant costs that don’t necessarily add value to you (wholesales, slotting fees, store overhead, factory operation). We partner with factories already manufacturing this stuff for the big boys and use their excess capacity to cut and design to our specs in smaller batches.

Are your sheets made in Brooklyn?

Our sheets are not made in Brooklyn although we’d love to at some point in the future. The fact is, manufacturing locally is just too damn expensive and we’d have to pass those costs on to you for the same exact materials. Our focus is to provide you, the customer, with amazing value on your sheets – luxury quality at a fair price. Learn more about our cotton

Why did you launch on Kickstarter?

Our friends thought we were crazy for starting a bed sheet business fresh out of school. Kickstarter was the best way to see if there was anyone out there that felt the same way we do.

How does your referral program work?

We love it if you'd spread the word about your experience with our products! For every confirmed referred purchase, you, the advocate and your referred purchaser will receive $15 towards a future purchase. Codes cannot be stacked and codes posted on 3rd party coupon sites will be deemed ineligible. 

What is the warranty on your comforters?

We stand behind the quality of our products. As such, our down and down alternative comforters are covered by a lifetime warranty. Should the products break down due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace the comforter free of charge. 

What is your return policy? 

We stand behind the quality of our products and are confident you will love the feel of your new bedding. Our return policy varies from collection to collection and details are as follows:

Sheets:

If you are unhappy with your sheets for any reason, we are happy to accept returns within 60 days of purchase, no questions asked. Returns of unwashed and unused merchandise are refunded in the original method of payment. 

Returns of washed or used sheets will be refunded minus a processing fee of $9.99. As washed/used items cannot be resold, we donate all returns in this condition to Goodwill in Brooklyn. The processing fee covers return shipping, storage, and goodwill pickup fees.   

Comforters and Pillows:

We take great pride in the craftsmanship of our down products and expertise of our Canadian manufacturing team. As such, we provide a lifetime warranty on all of our down products - comforters and pillows. If your comforter or pillow ever breaks down, simply give us a shout and we'll repair it. If a repair is impossible, we will replace the item free of charge.

Blankets:

Our blankets are covered by our 60 day no-questions-asked return policy. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please initiate a return and we will cover return shipping. 

Returns of washed or used blankets inside the 60 day window will be refunded minus a processing fee of $9.99. As washed/used items cannot be resold, we donate all returns in this condition to Goodwill in Brooklyn. The processing fee covers return shipping, storage, and goodwill pickup fees.   

We will honor exchanges beyond 60 days for manufacturer defects and product breakdowns only.
