What's the Difference Between Down and Down Alternative?

Our Down is premium, high-grade Canadian Duck Down and Down Feather Fibers that’s unlike the rest. All Down Comforters and Pillows are DOWNMARK® Certified.

Our Down Alternative redefines oomph with high-grade, hypoallergenic recycled poly microgel fill that’s just as cocoon-worthy as down. Even better, that same innovative fill is fully biodegradable, meaning it breaks down to reduce environmental impact. Our Down Alternative fill is Global Recycled Standard (GRS) Certified.

What certifications do your Comforter & Pillow products have?

Our Comforters & Pillows are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (#17.HUS.08214 Hohenstein). OEKO-TEX tests for harmful substances which are prohibited or regulated by law and chemicals which are known to be harmful to health.

Our Down Pillows and Comforters are DOWNMARK® Certified. This certification ensures the product meets Canadian government quality standards and guidelines for down and feather content, and that it was manufactured in Canada according to those standards.

Our Down Alternative Pillows and Comforters are certified by the Global Recycled Standard. This certification verifies recycled content in products, and aims to reduce harmful production impacts on people and the environment and provides assurance that products are processed in a more climate-friendly way.

How do I care for my Comforters & Pillows?

Machine wash cold. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low with wool dryer balls until fully dry. Commercial washer and dryer only.
