French Terry is a knitted fabric that features loops and soft piles of yarn on one side (usually the inside of a garment) and a smooth, soft surface on the other side. This fabric is an absorbent, light-weight, and moisture-wicking material. It is a bit heavier than a t-shirt, but not as heavy as most sweatshirts.
